Howl at the Moon fundraiser
The Galway Mountain Rescue Team are organising a fundraising event at the Galway Wind Park, Shanapheasteen Road, Oughterard, Co. Galway on Saturday 12th October. You have a choice between doing the 17km full route or a shorter 9km moonlit walk through the park. Participants will be provided with a route map with manned checkpoints to provide support. For those who don't feel confident navigating, there will also be guided group walks. Further details are available at http://www.howlatthemoon.ie Tickets are currently on sale and there is an opportunity to avail of early bird pricing for the next couple of weeks.
