Club walk Sunday 15th May 2022

Sunday 15th May, an easy 11km walk taking in Seltanasaggart, the highest point in Roscommon, the highest point on Corry mountain and a visit to Scardan waterfall and nice views over Lough Allen.

Trail shoes, water, lunch and rain gear required. Carpool from Gullane's car park at 8.30am and stop for coffee etc. at service station at Tulsk cross roads at 9.30am. Leader: Liam Roche.

The walk starts from G924 : 184 on OSI Discovery map no 26. If using Google Maps enter Seltannaskeagh and it will get you to the start.

Take the R280 from either Keadue or Carrick on Shannon and drive past the sign for Arigna and after 1.25km take the next left L1003. This is a narrow country road so drive slowly straight on for 3.5km and as you take a right hand curve you will see a yellow coloured house on your left. Stay on the same road for another 1.3km and park at entrance to first wind turbine.
